Phalgun Nit Salahiye
Jis Nu Til Na Tamaye
A humble Tribute to Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj, offered by Babaji's direct disciple - Brig. Partap Singh Jaspal (Retd.). Guru Arjan Patshah in the above Hymn “Phalgun Nit Salahiye Jis Nu Til Na Tamaye” in Barah Mah describes “Jis Nu Til Na Tamaye” (who is above all greed) as the Divine Virtue of the Lord which supercedes all other virtues. In another hymn on Satguru, Sri Guru Granth Sahib again mentions this as the highest virtue for the Satguru. Then, for a Mahapurush, a Gurmukh, this is again the virtue which Sri Guru Granth Sahib says, is above all other virtues.
(from www.BabaNandSinghSahib.org)
Above Greed to the Same Extent as God (Jis Nu Til Na Tamaye)
His blazing spirit of renunciation is beyond human comprehension. It remains unmatched till date and shall continue to so radiate for all times to come.
His luminous life, a life of total renunciation of everything worldly, a life of total selfless devotion and service of Sri Guru Granth Sahib as living Sri Guru Nanak Sahib, a life of total self effacement, of self abnegation, a life of total humility and compassion is in itself the holiest of the holy message for mankind.
Glory of God is sung as the one ‘Jis Noon Til Na Tamaey’ (sing the Glory of God who is above all greed).
Phalgun Nit Salahiai Jis Nu Til Na Tamaey
Sri Guru Granth Sahib, 136
No sage has appeared in the world to rival Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj as a Tyagi of that stature, above greed to the same extent as God.

Meethat Neeveen Nanaka Gun Changayaiyan Tatt
Guru Nanak Patshah says that Nimrata, Humility is the source (seed) of all the Divine Virtues.
As you may have already seen in our first video on Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj, the Greatest Divine Lover of Sri Guru Granth Sahib descends on Mother Earth in the garb of humility and starts spreading the Glory of Sri Guru Nanak Patshah, and Sri Guru Granth Sahib right from early childhood. Guru Nanak Patshah had Himself sent His divine lover, the love of His Lotus Feet, to this world.
Which are the Divine virtues as written in Sri Guru Granth Sahib that emanate from the seed of Humility?
Which are the Divine virtues which identify and define such a Divine Lover?

Bachan 4 (Saakhi):
Sacred Saakhi of the Baba Nand Singh Ji Maharaj: (also narrated in "Miracle of Holy Nam")
It was in Chotta Thaath after the ‘Samapti’ of evening programme that Mahan Babaji got up from His Asan and took leave of the sangat in His characteristic humility. As Babaji came out, Father after picking up the cloth chappals of Mahan Babaji placed those in front of His holy feet. Mahan Babaji while putting His holy feet in the chappals placed His hand on one of the shoulders of father for support. Babaji’s bare wrist happened to touch father’s ear. An indescribable melody of ‘Waheguru’ from each and every pore (rome) of Babaji’s bare wrist struck father’s ear and rushed deep into his soul giving him a sublime taste of Nam Ras.
Close physical proximity, Babaji’s holy hand resting on father’s shoulder, gentle bare forearm of Babaji touching father’s left ear, melodious chanting of Waheguru issuing forth from every pore of Babaji’s forearm sent father in maddening ecstasy. Embrosial Nam bursting forth from every pore of Babaji’s Eternal Being got enshrined in father’s heart and filled his whole being with spiritual joy. Father stumbled on his feet and was about to fall but Babaji kindly held him up.
Watch what happened thereafter ...
